SKGS works on energy issues associated with Sweden’s energy-intense industry. SKGS is a collaboration between various industry organisations. The name SKGS stands for the Swedish words Skogen (forests), Kemin (chemicals), Gruvorna (mines), and Stålet (steel).

The Swedish Industry’s demand for electricity up to 2030

SKGS’ new survey shows that the energy-intensive industrys electricity demand will increase with 88 TWh by 2035. Last year’s report on industry’s electricity demand up to 2030 has been updated with new data on electricity demand, by sector and geographically.
